Welcome! I’m so excited you’re here. Whether you’re planning your dream wedding or capturing a meaningful milestone for your family, I’m truly honored to document this special chapter of your life.
As a Greensboro, North Carolina wedding and portrait photographer, I’m passionate about every detail that makes your wedding day uniquely yours. From the beautiful florals and elegant table settings to the stunning venues, whether it’s a mountain-view estate, a charming downtown Greensboro space, or a quiet chapel, I love discovering what makes your day special. Most of all, I love capturing the genuine moments between you and the people you love most.
Before becoming a photographer, I was a kindergarten teacher, and that experience shaped how I connect with children and families. I adore photographing kids and preserving their authentic expressions and personalities. As a mom myself (to a seven-year-old daughter!), I know just how quickly time passes and how important it is to document every stage of your family’s story through timeless photography.
I also love to travel and I’m always excited to photograph destination weddings and portrait sessions across North Carolina and beyond. Whether your celebration takes place in the mountains, at the coast, out of state, or even in another country, I’d be thrilled to capture your story.
When I’m not behind the camera, you’ll find me spending time with my husband and daughter, traveling somewhere new to us, singing along to Broadway musicals, or relaxing with an iced coffee.
If you’re looking for a wedding and family photographer who will capture your story with authenticity, warmth, and joy, I’d love to connect with you!
My journey to wedding and portrait photography isn’t the traditional “I’ve had a camera in my hand since childhood” story.
Before becoming a photographer, I spent 10 years as an educator, teaching and pouring my heart into the classroom. I was that girl in high school who had her whole life planned out: go to college, teach for 30 years, and retire. But after a decade in education (and living through a global pandemic!), I began craving something new, a more flexible, creative life that allowed me to travel and connect with people in a meaningful way.
In the spring of 2021, an ad for a photography course popped up on Instagram, and I decided to take a leap of faith. Since then, I’ve lived and breathed photography completing countless courses, refining my craft, and spending the last few years photographing weddings and family milestones across Greensboro, North Carolina, throughout the country, and overseas.
Becoming a wedding and lifestyle photographer has truly been a dream come true. It’s a beautiful blend of creativity, connection, and storytelling, everything I was searching for. I would be honored to help you capture your most meaningful moments. Reach out today, and let’s document your story together!
Your skin won’t look orange.
Your greens stay green. No trends. Just honest photos that feel like you.
I focus on moments, not stiff smiles. Think movement, emotion, and the little details you didn’t know you’d love forever.
I’m a local and I know all the best hidden gem locations with stunning backdrops and the best light, from Charlotte to Raleigh- always searching for new inspiration.
Your wedding day deserves more than
just pretty pictures — it deserves intentional storytelling.
My family means the world to me. I have been married to my high school sweetheart for 14 years and we had our daughter in 2018. She is the reason I started photography as a hobby. I wanted to be able to take better photos of her and wanting that evolved into doing this as a career! She also happens to be the best model and is happy to take part in all of my photography ideas.
Traveling has always made me feel alive. I love exploring a new city or country and now that photography is always on my mind, I love to document these beautiful places that I visit. So far, I've had the opportunity to visit places like Aruba, Hawaii, Las Vegas, New York City, Mexico, and Dominican Republic. I have an entire bucket list of places I want to visit and photograph while I'm there- Ireland, Iceland, Utah, London, Maine, Italy, Amsterdam, and Switzerland to name a few!
