Engagement sessions are so much fun to plan, especially when thinking about location because the possibilities are endless. Couples have chosen to have their engagement session on a row boat, on top of mountains, in the city, and in wide open fields. As your Raleigh wedding photographer, let's start planning!

Emily & Ben are getting married in Charlotte, NC, but wanted to enjoy a mountain view for their engagement session. After an hour hike, we had the most incredible views for their winter engagement session.

The WEDDING Experience
After photographing over 100 weddings, one of the things I hear over and over again is just how quickly the day passes by. One minute you are getting your makeup done and the next you are running past your guests at your sparkler exit. The day truly feels like it happens in the blink of an eye.
I want to help you capture those moments on your wedding day while you are enjoying them. I want you to take the time to hang out with your bridesmaids and sip mimosas or take some time for private vows before your ceremony. I want your day to feel authentic and I want you to know that I'll be there, getting all of those candid moments documented for you to enjoy later.

Most clients hire me for my true to life editing and my documentary, candid style of photography. If that is the style you want for your wedding day, let's connect!
Fill out my contact form and tell me about your wedding. I'll check to see if I am available for your wedding day and if I am, we'll set up a phone call to get to know each other. As your wedding photographer, I'll be with you majority of the day, so it's important to make sure we connect before your wedding day.

2. Engagement Session
After we get you officially booked, we'll plan your engagement session. I'll help you find the perfect date based on the season you envision. We'll chat about locations and the vibe you are going for. Do you imagine running through a field of flowers? Are you picturing yourselves on a row boat on a beautiful pond? Do you see yourself dressed up and posing on a rooftop in the city? Whatever you have in mind, we'll make it happen! I'll give you ideas for outfits and color schemes if you need help with that as well.
3. WEDDING TIMELINE
All of my wedding day collections include timeline support. This means I will ask you some questions about your wedding day once you get into planning mode like are you having a first look or do you have a set time for dinner. I will take all of the information you have about your day and create a timeline that considers the best lighting and timing for photos. This timeline is flexible and can be changed throughout your engagement. We'll collaborate with your wedding planner, but this gives you a starting point for how you'll use your hours of photography coverage.
4. WEdding day!
Your wedding day is finally here! You can expect me to be there a few minutes before our set starting time to scout your venue. I'll look for the best light and photo locations outdoors, as well as see what the space inside looks like. I'll say hello to both you and your spouse to be and then I'll get started on capturing your wedding day! I'll be there for eight hours or more, depending on the collection you choose. We'll laugh, you'll probably cry during your vows, everyone will dance, and the best part of all- you'll be married!
5. your photographs
One of the things that my couples rave about are sneak peeks. All of my collections include at least 50 sneak peek images. You'll get these sneak peeks within 48 hours (often sooner!) I want you to share these with your family and friends and relive the moments that brought you so much joy. These sneak peeks will keep you thinking about your wedding day until your full gallery is delivered in 6-8 weeks. I'll be hand editing every single photo that you receive so you have top notch images of your wedding day. Gallery delivery day may just be better than your wedding day- well almost!

LOCAL Weddings START AT $3,800
For weddings that are local to Greensboro, NC or less than 5 hours away, I have three collections to choose from. All of these collections include travel with no additional fees. All collections include an engagement session and may include a second photographer and wedding album. You'll be able to add on a bridal session or extra hours of coverage as well.

LOCAL WEDDINGS
As you can see, I LOVE to travel- whether that's to a US based location or a destination outside of the country. For destination weddings (more than 5 hours from Greensboro, NC), I will create a custom quote for you based on where your destination is and what you want covered on your wedding day.
I love how intimate elopements are and how the day is truly focused on you as a couple. If you are eloping, I can create a custom package for you based on your destination & date. Whether you are eloping on top of a mountain or on a glacier in Alaska, let's plan your special day!
