Biltmore Estate wedding venue reaches back through the pages of history to create a space for your happily ever after. The massive estate was built in 1895 to serve as a picturesque retreat within the mountains. Hundreds of laborers went to work, bringing in the finest materials for the home. The result was a stunning manor with breathtaking details each way you turn. You will have several ways to experience this venue, whether you want to get away for the weekend or write the next chapter of your love story.
Details of the Grounds
With Biltmore Estate, you will have a number of spaces you can use throughout your wedding day. The venue contains over 8,000 acres with no shortage of spots for your celebration. When you arrive, you will be placed in the Get Ready Room, where you and your wedding party can relax in style! Break out some bubbly and raise a toast to the day before it unfolds. Once you have on all the finishing touches, you can head over to the ceremony space of your choosing. The venue offers the Front Lawn, the Italian Garden, and the South Terrace as designated wedding spaces. They will also work with you to find a scenic field throughout the property if you prefer to exchange vows with nothing but the mountains as your backdrop.
From there, your guests can head to the South Terrace, where they can enjoy a cocktail hour at the foot of the chateau. They can sip on signature drinks as they take a stroll across the land.
You will be able to place a tent over the outdoor ceremony sites if you choose to have your reception outside. If you’d prefer, you can use the venue’s ballroom where you will have a breathtaking space worthy of your celebration. The interior of the venue can accommodate up to 400 guests.
