History Meets Romance At The Finch House Wedding Venue

The Finch House is a century-old estate located in Thomasville, North Carolina. This pristine house combines stunning architecture with luxurious amenities to deliver your dream wedding! As a Greensboro wedding photographer, I adore working with couples to help them capture their perfect day. Here’s what you can expect when you host your wedding at The Finch House

About The Finch House Wedding Venue

17 East Main Street, Thomasville, North Carolina 27360

As you might imagine from a mansion built in 1921, The Finch House is an estate that has seen its share of legendary moments. The house originally belonged to Thomas Austin Finch, an industrialist who built his fortune off manufacturing furniture. Finch would wear many hats throughout his career, serving as a president of the National Bank of Thomasville before consulting with FDR to pull the country out of the Great Depression. While Finch has long since passed, the house continues to bear testament to the life of a truly extraordinary man!

Small indoor weddings can take place in the Library where you can hold up to 70 guests. With a wooden fireplace and elegant wood paneling, this space is warm and elegant for your microwedding.

If you want to stay indoors, your guests can stay in The Carriage House with rooms for up to 200 guests. Outdoor parties can happen on the tented terrace, where you can dance the night away on a dance floor on the cobblestone.
